Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Technical Engineer in Singapore to lead engineering operations and direct technicians, vendors, and subcontractors.

The role supports preventive maintenance, repairs, and overall facility performance within the Engineering and Technical Services function. You will manage rooftop chiller plant operations, coordinate with HVAC/chiller and water treatment vendors, and ensure compliance with local codes and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with technicians/vendors; provide day-to-day direction.
• Monitor BMS/EMS, alarms, setpoints; support asset lifecycle (PM, spares).
• Apply standards, statutory compliance, and change control.
• Contribute to budgets and KPIs (uptime, PPM, SLAs; chiller COP, availability, water treatment compliance).
• Drive continuous improvement (sequencing, setpoints, VFD tuning); troubleshoot chiller faults.
• Pilot and refine workflows in the new asset system; capture feedback and improve data quality.
