Job summary

CAMBRIDGE @ MACPHERSON PTE. LTD. is seeking a dedicated Childcare Cook to prepare nutritious meals for infants and children in our Singapore childcare center. This role requires hands-on kitchen management and adherence to health standards.

You will handle meal planning, ingredient ordering, and ensure meals for staff and children are balanced and timely, while maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment on-site at 50 Macpherson Road.

Qualifications

• Experience cooking for large groups, preferably in preschool or childcare.
• Knowledge of nutritional requirements for young children.
• Ability to maintain a clean, well-organized kitchen and safe food prep.
• Reliable and punctual to support meals on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Prepare healthy meals including breakfast, lunch, and snacks for infants and childcare children to meet their nutritional needs
• Order and manage kitchen ingredients and supplies to ensure availability and reduce waste
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen area to comply with health and safety standards
• Prepare meals for staff to support overall childcare center operations

Required competencies and certifications

• Demonstrated experience cooking for large groups, preferably in a preschool or childcare setting
• Knowledge of nutritional requirements for young children to ensure meal quality and appropriateness
