Job summary

Cultivar Asia Pte Ltd is seeking flexible, part-time kitchen and cleaning support to operate across Singapore-based preschool centres. Responsibilities include cooking, food handling, cleaning, and basic stock tasks to maintain a hygienic environment for young children.

Candidates should hold a WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1 and be able to travel between centres as needed. Prior preschool experience is preferred, with ad-hoc assignments offered across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Valid Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate (WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1) is required.
• Prior working experience as a Cook, Cleaner or General Assistant in a preschool or childcare centre is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation, kitchen hygiene and general cleaning procedures.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare nutritious meals and snacks for preschool children in accordance with the centre's menu and dietary requirements.
• Ensure food is prepared, handled and stored safely in compliance with food hygiene and safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, including cooking utensils, equipment and food preparation areas.
• Monitor food supplies and assist with basic stock management when required.
• Ensure proper handling of food allergies and special dietary requirements as instructed by the centre.
• Perform general cleaning duties within the preschool premises, including classrooms, toilets, common areas and kitchen facilities.
• Sweep, mop, wipe and sanitise surfaces to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
• Wash and sanitise dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment after meal preparation.
• Dispose of rubbish appropriately and maintain cleanliness of waste disposal areas.
• Assist with laundry and other general housekeeping duties when required.

Job Requirements

• Flexible and willing to travel to different preschool locations across Singapore.
• Able to accept ad-hoc assignments based on availability and centre requirements.
