Job summary

Fei Yue Family Service Centre's Child Protection Specialist Centre (CPSC) is seeking a social work professional to deliver home-based child protection services in Singapore. The role involves conducting risk assessments, social investigations, and developing intervention plans to safeguard children and support high-need families.

The successful candidate will prepare timely reports, implement safety measures, and coordinate wraparound services through advocacy and referrals.

Qualifications

Degree in Social Work is required.
Experience with child protection, mental health and/or family violence issues preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
Strong maturity, communication and interpersonal skills when engaging with professionals and families from diverse backgrounds.
Ability to engage and work with children and adolescents.

Responsibilities

Conduct risk assessment and safety planning for children and caregivers.
Carry out social investigation, assessment, case formulation and intervention planning.
Prepare reports and case recordings in a timely manner.
Implement safety and intervention plans.
Develop wraparound services to support high-need families through advocacy, referrals and collaboration.
Be prepared to work two nights a week and weekends occasionally.
