Job summary

Fei Yue Community Services is looking for a dedicated professional to work with parents and caregivers in Singapore. You will provide guidance on early development, conduct home visits, and help families access healthcare, mental health, and other services.

The role involves working with a multidisciplinary team to support child development and family well‑being, with some evening visits and travel to homes as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in relevant field and willingness to travel for home visits.
• Good interpersonal and engagement skills with diverse families.
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience with casework, documentation, and community services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular home visits to provide parents and caregivers with support and practical strategies to promote child development.
• Build rapport with families to facilitate learning in parent-child interaction and family well‑being.
• Assess and support parents in applying child development knowledge to daily caregiving.
• Conduct developmental screenings and ongoing assessments of child development and family functioning.
• Provide information and guidance on development, healthcare, mental health, and available services with multidisciplinary team support.
• Collaborate with community and social service agencies to coordinate support, including case conferences and multidisciplinary discussions.

Education

Degree in Early Childhood Development, Psychology, Nursing, Social Work, Counselling or equivalent
