Job summary

Fei Yue Family Service Centre's Child Protection Specialist Centre (CPSC) is seeking a social work professional to deliver home-based child protection services in Singapore. The role involves conducting risk assessments, social investigations, and developing intervention plans to safeguard children and support high-need families.

The successful candidate will prepare timely reports, implement safety measures, and coordinate wraparound services through advocacy and referrals.

Qualifications

• Degree in Social Work is required.
• Experience with child protection, mental health and/or family violence issues preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
• Strong maturity, communication and interpersonal skills when engaging with professionals and families from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to engage and work with children and adolescents.

About Child Protection Specialist Centre (CPSC):

We are dedicated to providing quality home-based services and support to families and children experiencing abuse or severe neglect at home. Referrals are received from the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) Child Protection Services to assist families and children identified as needing non-statutory services and support. Guided by a child-centred, family-focused, and community-based approach, our aim is to empower families to reach their fullest potential and provide ongoing support through life’s changes and challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct risk assessment and safety planning for children and caregivers.
• Carry out social investigation, assessment, case formulation, intervention planning.
