Job summary

Singapore National Eye Centre’s Dept of Child Development is seeking a psychologist on a contract basis to support preschoolers with developmental, emotional, and behavioural needs. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering assessments, interventions and educational placements.

Requirements include a Master in Psychology with practicum, SPS full membership eligibility and SRP registration, plus experience with young children or autism.

Qualifications

• At least a Master Degree in Psychology (Clinical /Educational) with practicum component.
• Eligible for Singapore Psychological Society (SPS) full membership
• Eligible for registration with the Singapore Register of Psychologists (SRP)
• Preferably with working experience with young children (toddlers/preschoolers) and/or with autism.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessments for diagnosis of autism and intervention recommendations.
• Deliver evidence-based psychological interventions to manage mood, anxiety and behavioural issues.
• Work across disciplines within a multidisciplinary team to deliver transdisciplinary services.
• Contribute to research and service projects as opportunities arise.
