Job summary

The Psychologist in the Child Development Unit of the Department of Paediatrics at National University Hospital (Singapore) Pte Ltd will conduct psychometric assessments and develop intervention programmes for referred paediatric patients. This role supports research data collection and informs psychoeducational programmes.

You will contribute to teaching, supervision of psychology interns, and department training, under supervision from a Senior Psychologist, with involvement in research

Responsibilities

To conduct appropriate psychometric assessments and result interpretation for referred patients.
To accurately document assessment findings and make appropriate recommendations.
To develop, implement and evaluate appropriate intervention / group programmes for referred patients.
To develop materials for teaching and training.
To provide in-service training for department staff as needed.
To provide specialised teaching and supervision to psychology interns on clinical attachment.
To contribute to team level operational tasks.
To participate in research projects as a member of the research team, as appropriate.
To provide expertise for queries from magazines, newspapers or other forms of media from our Corporate Communications department.
