Job summary

m-concept interior pte. ltd. in Singapore seeks a Chief Designer to lead and oversee the design function, including 3D rendering, technical drafting, design development and media production.

The role supervises the design team to deliver high-quality work that aligns with project requirements. You will coordinate with management, clients and contractors, develop creative concepts, and maintain design standards while mentoring junior designers to foster growth and consistency across projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Graphic Design, Multimedia Design or related field.
• Experience in 3D design, rendering, drafting and creative design work.
• Strong proficiency in relevant design software and 3D visualization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the design team and overall workflow.
• Oversee preparation of 3D renderings, design drawings, drafting and presentations.
• Review designers’ 3D plans, layouts and concepts; provide direction.
• Develop creative concepts and visual solutions based on client and project requirements.
• Ensure drawings and renderings are accurate, consistent and timely.
• Coordinate with management, clients, contractors on design requirements and revisions.
• Oversee preparation of creative media and marketing/design materials.
• Establish and maintain design standards, templates and QC procedures.
• Mentor junior designers and provide technical/design support.
• Keep updated on design trends, software and technologies relevant to 3D visualization.

The Chief Designer will be responsible for leading and overseeing the company’s design function, including 3D rendering, technical drafting, design development and creative media production. The role will supervise the design team and ensure that all design works are delivered accurately, creatively and in accordance with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the company’s design team and overall design workflow.
• Oversee the preparation of 3D renderings, design drawings, drafting and presentation materials.
• Review and provide direction on designers’ 3D plans, layouts and design concepts.
• Develop creative concepts and visual solutions based on client and project requirements.
• Ensure design drawings and renderings are accurate, consistent and completed within project timelines.
• Coordinate with management, clients, contractors and other relevant parties on design requirements and revisions.
• Oversee the preparation of creative media, visual presentations and other marketing/design materials.
• Establish and maintain design standards, templates and quality-control procedures.
• Guide and mentor junior designers and provide technical/design support where required.
• Keep updated on design trends, software and technologies relevant to 3D visualisation and design production.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Graphic Design, Multimedia Design or a related field.
• Relevant experience in 3D design, rendering, drafting and creative design work.
• Strong proficiency in relevant design and 3D visualisation software.
• Good understanding of design drawings, layouts, materials and visual presentation.
• Experience supervising or leading designers would be preferred.
• Strong creative, communication, coordination and project-management skills.
• Able to manage multiple projects and work independently within deadlines.
