Qualifications

• Strong hands-on expertise in oligonucleotide chemistry, including synthesis, purification, modification, conjugation, and characterization.
• Experience with fluorescent dye and/or probe chemistry for molecular biology applications.
• Hands-on experience with real-time PCR/qPCR instrumentation and experiments.
• Ability to independently design experiments, troubleshoot challenges, and interpret data.
• Understanding of chemistry–assay performance, manufacturability, and product requirements.

Responsibilities

• Drive dye and oligonucleotide innovation by evaluating new dyes, quenchers, linkers, and modifications.
• Serve as Singapore–Pleasanton scientific bridge and transfer knowledge to accelerate product development.
• Enable future Lab-in-the-Loop and automation solutions through chemistry-enabled consumables and formats.
• Lead experimental R&D, design studies, analyze data, and recommend next steps.
• Translate research into manufacturable products, balancing performance with scalability and cost.
