Job summary

Planet Pharma in Singapore is seeking a Scientist or Senior Scientist with deep expertise in oligonucleotide therapeutics and preclinical DMPK to advance RNA-based programmes. You will lead PK, biodistribution, and bioanalytical strategies to generate translational data supporting IND-enabling decisions.

You will collaborate across discovery biology, chemistry, and translational sciences, develop new assays, manage CROs, and contribute to regulatory submissions, with a focus on expanding

Qualifications

• PhD in Pharmacokinetics or related field with 4+ years in oligonucleotide therapeutics.
• Strong expertise in ADME, DMPK, PK and PK/PD analysis in preclinical settings.
• Hands-on experience with PK, biodistribution and bioanalytical methods for oligonucleotides.

Responsibilities

• Lead preclinical PK, ADME and biodistribution studies for oligonucleotide therapeutics.
• Develop translational DMPK strategies to support candidate selection and IND-enabling studies.
• Integrate PK/PD, biodistribution and target engagement data to inform development decisions.
• Design and oversee tissue distribution studies including extrahepatic targets.
• Develop and apply bioanalytical methods (qPCR, RT-PCR, LCs-MS/MS) to quantify oligonucleotide exposure.
• Establish biomarker strategies to measure knockdown and pharmacological response.
• Collaborate with discovery biology, oligonucleotide chemistry and translational sciences.
• Contribute to regulatory submissions and CRO partnerships.
