Job summary

The role offers a pathway toward a future front-office trading position. Requirements include a degree in Chemistry or related discipline and 3–5 years in chemical trading or B2B sales, with Petchems experience being essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in chemical trading, chemical distribution, or B2B chemicals sales.
• Experience in Petchems is must. Aromatics is an added advantage.
• Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record in business development.
• Experience managing customer and supplier relationships.

About The Opportunity

An established multinational trading organization is seeking a Chemical Trading Executive to support the growth of its chemicals business across Singapore and the region. This role offers exposure to business development, account management, supplier engagement, and market analysis within the chemical trading sector.

Working closely with experienced traders and regional stakeholders, you will gain exposure to the full trading cycle, including market analysis, customer management, supplier engagement, pricing strategy, and commercial negotiations.
