BAM! CATERING AND EVENTS PTE. LTD. is seeking a reliable Chef to join our kitchen team. You will handle daily food preparation and cook dishes to order for lunch and dinner services, ensuring consistent quality and adherence to safety standards.

Requirements include 1–2 years in a kitchen, a valid SFA Food Safety Level 1 certificate, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays. You will collaborate with the service crew to deliver a great dining experience.

Qualifications

Minimum 1–2 years of cooking experience in a restaurant or similar environment.
Valid Food Safety Course Level 1 certificate recognized by SFA.
Willingness to work flexible rosters including weekends and public holidays.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
Clear communication with team members.

Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes, portion guidelines, and presentation standards.
Manage your assigned kitchen station efficiently, ensuring dishes are cooked and plated promptly during busy peak hours.
Maintain clean and sanitized workstations, utensils, and equipment in strict compliance with Singapore Food Agency (SFA) regulations.
Monitor ingredient freshness, practice proper food storage and rotation (FIFO), and report low stock levels.
Collaborate closely with other kitchen staff and service crew to ensure smooth and accurate food delivery.
