Job summary

JOBSEEK HR CONSULTANCY PTE. LTD. is seeking a kitchen professional to prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and standards. The role requires maintaining quality, taste, and proper portion control while ensuring cleanliness and safety in a fast-paced kitchen.

You will work closely with the kitchen team, handle ingredients and supplies, and follow all health and safety procedures. Weekend and public holiday shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in a commercial kitchen or restaurant is preferred.
• Culinary training or qualifications are welcome to apply.
• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to the restaurant's recipes and standards.
• Ensure food quality, taste, presentation and portion control are maintained.
• Handle food preparation, cooking and plating efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and work areas.
• Check and manage food ingredients and kitchen supplies.
• Follow food safety and workplace safety procedures.
• Work closely with other kitchen team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned.
