Job summary

RAFFLES SENTOSA SINGAPORE is seeking a Chef De Partie to assist in daily kitchen operations, upholding high standards of food preparation, presentation and hygiene. You will work under the Sous Chef and support the kitchen team in busy service periods.

Responsibilities include helping with prep, executing recipes, maintaining cleanliness, and following safety guidelines while delivering exceptional guest experiences at all times.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Chef De Partie or similar in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Strong culinary skills across various techniques.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• High standards of cleanliness and food safety.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Flexible with weekends and public holidays.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Attend pre-shift meetings with the Executive Chef.
• Assist in food preparation and cooking according to hotel standards.
• Ensure high quality presentation of all dishes.
• Follow health and safety guidelines for handling, storage and sanitation.
• Assist with prep for events, banquets and large functions.
• Maintain a positive, professional kitchen environment.
• Ensure proper storage of food and ingredients.
• Work efficiently during peak periods to maintain quality.
• Adhere to workplace safety policies and report incidents.
• Participate in CSR and Sustainability initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
