Job summary

Leila is a vibrant Mediterranean-Balkan dining concept in Singapore. We are seeking a passionate Chef de Partie (CDP) / Senior CDP to join our growing kitchen team and own a kitchen section with a focus on quality, consistency and efficiency.

You will lead by example, support junior chefs and collaborate with the Sous and Head Chefs during service, while helping with private events and catering as needed.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of relevant kitchen experience.
• Experience in Western, Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, Balkan cuisines preferred.
• Independently manage a kitchen section during service.
• Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and hygiene.

• Manage and operate your assigned kitchen section independently.
• Prepare and present dishes according to Leila's standards.
• Handle daily mise en place and ensure smooth service.
• Maintain food quality, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
• Monitor stock, storage and ingredient rotation.
• Support and guide Commis Chefs and junior team members.
• Work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef during service.
• Support private events, catering and special dining experiences.
• Assist with daily opening and closing kitchen duties.

We are looking for a passionate Chef de Partie (CDP) / Senior CDP to join our growing kitchen team.

YOUR ROLE

You will take ownership of your assigned kitchen section, ensuring quality, consistency and efficiency throughout preparation and service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and operate your assigned kitchen section independently.

REQUIREMENTS

• 2-3 years of relevant kitchen experience, preferably as a CDP or Demi CDP.
• Experience in Western, Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, Balkan or similar cuisine is an advantage.
• Able to independently manage a kitchen section during service.
• Good knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and hygiene standards.
• Strong teamwork, communication and attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Comfortable working evenings, weekends and public holidays.
