Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Weigh and measure ingredients accurately to ensure consistent quality.
• Mix ingredients by hand or with an electric mixer to form dough or batter.
• Roll and shape dough using rolling pins and lamination techniques.
• Mold dough into shapes and place in pans, trim edges for neat presentation.
• Check production schedules to determine daily variety and quantity of goods.
• Spread toppings on loaves or items before baking.
• Prepare pastries and blend icings, colors, and decorative elements.
• Collaborate with teammates while working independently with minimal supervision.
• Maintain attention to detail to ensure product quality and consistency.
• Communicate clearly with team to coordinate baking tasks and production flow.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Baker / Pastry specialist in Breads and Pastries who can manages the daily operations of the bakery station, producing high-quality breads, pastries, and desserts while ensuring consistency, hygiene, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Weigh and measure ingredients accurately using measuring cups and spoons to ensure consistent product quality
• Mix ingredients by hand or with an electric mixer to form dough or batter for breads and pastries
• Roll and shape dough using rolling pins, lamination techniques, dough sheeters, and cut dough into uniform portions with knives, dividers, or cookie cutters
• Mold dough into desired shapes and place it in greased or floured pans, trimming overlapping edges with a knife for neat presentation
• Check production schedules to determine the variety and quantity of baked goods required each day
• Spread or sprinkle toppings on loaves or specialty items before placing dough in the oven for baking
• Mix ingredients to prepare pastries and blend colors for icings, shaped ornaments, and decorative statuaries
• Collaborate effectively with team members while working independently with minimal supervision
• Maintain attention to detail to ensure product quality and consistency
• Communicate clearly with team members to coordinate baking tasks and production flow

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in baking or pastry preparation
• Good product knowledge of breads and pastries to support quality baking outcomes

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of baking, dough lamination, and oven management.
