Job summary

ASEANet Manpower Consulting Pte Ltd is recruiting for a cook to join their kitchen team in Singapore. The role involves preparing and cooking dishes according to the assigned kitchen section, ensuring mise en place and consistent quality during service.

The candidate should have at least 2 years of culinary experience, strong teamwork, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant culinary experience.
• Good cooking skills and knowledge of the assigned kitchen section.
• Able to work independently and efficiently during busy service periods.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook dishes according to the assigned kitchen section.
• Complete all ingredient preparation and mise en place before service.
• Maintain consistent food quality, presentation and portion sizes.
• Monitor ingredient usage and notify the Sous Chef when stocks need replenishing.
• Keep the assigned workstation clean, organised and compliant with food safety standards.
• Control food usage and minimise unnecessary wastage.
• Assist with smooth and timely food preparation during service.
