Job summary

ISTANBUL GRILL'S AND CAFE in Singapore is hiring a responsible, hardworking and motivated Chef/Cook to join our team. You will follow recipes, food preparation procedures and kitchen standards while learning Turkish and Mediterranean cuisine.

Training will be provided to the right candidate who is willing to learn. You should work well under pressure, maintain cleanliness and hygiene, and cooperate with kitchen and service staff as part of a team. Attitude and reliability are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience or interest in Turkish and Mediterranean cuisine.

• Candidates with existing Turkish/Mediterranean cooking knowledge are preferred.
• Training will be providedto the right candidate who is willing to learn.
• Able to follow recipes, food preparation procedures and kitchen standards.
• Responsible for maintainingcleanliness, hygiene and disciplinein the kitchen.
• Able to work effectively as part of ateamand cooperate with other kitchen and service staff.
• Must be responsible, punctual, reliable and willing to take ownership of assigned duties.
• Able towork under pressure, especially during busy service periods.
• Willing to worklonger hours when required, depending on business and operational needs.
• Physically fit and willing to assist withreceiving, carrying and moving supplier deliveries, including carrying goods toLevel 2when required.
• Able to maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
