Job summary

L&D MANPOWER SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Chef to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will handle food preparation, cook dishes to restaurant standards, and help maintain quality and hygiene throughout the shift.

You should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, follow safety procedures, monitor stock, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely service and high plating standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant Chef/Cook experience.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
• Willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and restaurant standards.
• Ensure consistent taste, quality and presentation.
• Plan and organize daily food preparation and kitchen activities.
• Monitor stock, ingredients and supplies.
• Assist with menu preparation and improvements where required.
• Maintain portion control and minimize waste.
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and safety procedures.
• Check the quality and freshness of ingredients before use.
• Coordinate with kitchen team to ensure timely preparation.
• Assist with receiving and storing food supplies properly.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen throughout the shift.
• Perform other kitchen duties as assigned by management.

• Ensure food is prepared with consistent taste, quality and presentation
• Plan and organize daily food preparation and kitchen activities
• Monitor food stock, ingredients and kitchen supplies
• Assist with menu preparation and suggest improvements where required
• Maintain proper portion control and minimize food wastage
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, equipment and work areas
• Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures
• Check the quality and freshness of ingredients before use
• Coordinate with kitchen team members to ensure timely food preparation
• Assist with receiving and storing food supplies properly
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen throughout the shift
• Perform other kitchen duties as assigned by the management

Requirements
