Job summary

• Ensure food quality, taste, presentation and portion sizes meet the company's standards.
• Monitor food freshness, storage conditions and stock rotation to minimise food wastage.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, food preparation areas and cooking equipment.
• Ensure proper food handling, storage and cooking temperatures in accordance with food safety requirements.
• Monitor kitchen supplies and inform management when ingredients or other supplies need replenishment.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely preparation of food orders.
• Assist in developing new dishes, improving recipes and maintaining consistency in food preparation.
• Ensure kitchen equipment is used properly and report any equipment faults or maintenance needs.
• Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned by management.
