Job summary

ST Engineering in Singapore is seeking an engineer to certify engine components for release to service after overhaul or repair within a Part 145 repair operation.

You will perform final inspections, verify airworthiness records, and ensure compliance with FAA/EASA/CAAC data and company MOEs. Strong document control, English proficiency, and willingness to work rotating shifts are essential.

Qualifications

Job Description

Role Overview The role certifies engine components for release to service after overhaul or repair within ST Engineering's approved Part 145 component repair operation in Singapore. Key Responsibilities Certify components for release to service after overhaul or repair in accordance with the aviation authorities' approved engine rating and/or capability list, following company-approved MOE procedures in compliance with FAA, EASA and CAAC Part 145 regulations. Perform final inspections, functional checks and compliance verification to ensure components are serviceable and safe for flight. Review and validate component repair records, work packages and airworthiness documentation, ensuring all records are current, accurate and properly cleared. Ensure full compliance with approved technical data (for example ESM, SPM, SB, AD, IPC and AMM where applicable). Ensure adherence to the Safety Management System (SMS) and Human Factors best practices to maintain maintenance quality and safety standards. Participate in cost-control initiatives and continuous improvement projects and events to support operational efficiency. Perform any other duties as assigned. Requirements Strong knowledge of turbine engine component repair processes (for example plasma, NDT, painting, machining and welding). Strong understanding of FAA, EASA and CAAC aviation legislation and quality management systems. Ability to interpret technical manuals and engineering drawings accurately. Proficiency in maintenance documentation and record-keeping requirements. Able to work rotating shifts and support production overtime when required. Proficient in written and spoken English. Licences & Qualifications Minimum engineering-related diploma or equivalent qualification. Passed the CAAS Air Legislation examination Paper M10, L11 or L12, and any other applicable examinations required under CAAS Advisory Circular AC145-2. Experience At least five years of experience performing engine component maintenance release within an approved Part 145 repair station. Experience with CFM56 and/or LEAP engine types is an added advantage.
