Job summary

Tai Seng is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support daily kitchen operations from 6am to 5pm with a 1-hour break. Salary ranges from SGD 2,600 to SGD 2,800 monthly, with off in lieu for PH work.

Responsibilities include plating for counter service, cooking and mixing rice, mise en place, stock replenishment, and ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards. 1–2 years of kitchen assistant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of kitchen assistant experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day operations according to SOP in Central Kitchen
• Plating food for counter service
• Cooking and mixing rice
• Kitchen preparation work and mise en place
• Replenishing required ingredients
• Cleaning and washing all used service / kitchen tools, equipment and workstations
• Maintain cleanliness & food hygiene standards
• Basic Knife Skills
• Able to stand long hours
• Able to read so can assist in stock taking, stock receiving and dispatching
• Able to handle day to day kitchen operation ie (Cooking, marination, cutting, packing, stock taking, cleaning)
