Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, an RTX business, in Singapore is seeking a Production Operations Manager to oversee manufacturing cells and drive efficiency. You will supervise foremen, engineers, technicians and inspectors, building a multi-skilled team while guiding schedules, resources and performance.

Focus on meeting quality and delivery targets, conducting root-cause analysis, and partnering with Engineering, Quality, HR and Materials to achieve cost and productivity goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 4 years' experience in production, operations or manufacturing with supervisory management.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate teams to achieve goals.
• Strong problem solving and leadership skills.
• Effective communication at all levels of the organization.
• Lean manufacturing or repair experience with a continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee operations cells to meet metrics and goals.
• Supervise foremen, engineers, technicians and inspectors; develop a multi-skilled workforce.
• Guide the cell workforce to meet quality and on-time delivery targets; drive root cause analysis.
• Implement production and overtime schedules; allocate manpower and resources.
• Control production activities, material flow and inventory to meet targets.
• Conduct performance reviews to maintain high operating efficiency.
• Assist Department Manager with cost issues to meet revenue and profit goals.
• Interface with Engineering, Quality, HR, Customer Service and Materials to achieve objectives.
• Ensure compliance with CORE, EH&S and Ethics culture; carry out other duties as assigned.
