Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, an RTX business, is seeking a senior manufacturing leader to plan and direct the facility’s value streams, drive LEAN production, and ensure on-time delivery in a high‑tempo aerospace environment.

You will lead an Operations team of 120+ staff, drive automation and Industry 4.0 initiatives, and collaborate across departments to uphold EH&S and quality while sustaining cost performance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or a relevant discipline with at least 10 years aerospace/manufacturing experience.
• People-management experience leading an Operations team of 120+ staff including Cell Leaders.
• Strong engineering and technical capabilities; able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Proactive team player with leadership and ability to perform under pressure.
• Customer-focused and responsive to manufacturing demands.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct the facility’s product value streams to meet Quality and On-Time Delivery (OTD).
• Implement LEAN production systems and processes that align with the facility’s vision while ensuring regulatory airworthiness and EH&S compliance.
• Coordinate with other departments on customer requirements and material support to ensure smooth workshop operations and on-time delivery.
• Meet key performance metrics including EH&S, Quality, Financial, Productivity, Cost and Delivery commitments.
• Establish and execute production budgets, cost control, labor productivity, capacity utilization and inventory cost plans.
• Coach and develop staff, manage disciplinary matters, build capabilities through training, and support Lean Transformation.
