Job summary

StraitsX Group is seeking a Compliance Manager (Customer Due Diligence) to lead the CDD team and own high‑risk onboarding for corporate clients, individuals, and card programs. You will coach analysts, act as the quality gate before escalation to the Head of Compliance and the DDC, and own onboarding playbooks and ongoing monitoring workflows.

You will also drive projects on due diligence tooling, vendor governance, and ensure compliant collaboration with Product and Operations.

Qualifications

5–8 years of AML/CDD/KYC experience in banking, payments, FinTech or regulated finance.
1–2 years of direct team leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the CDD Analyst team and coaching.
Serve as final quality gate for high‑risk onboarding cases.
Prepare case details for the Due Diligence Committee (DDC).
Develop and maintain onboarding playbook for Onboarding and Account Ops teams.
Oversee periodic reviews and ongoing monitoring workflows.
Ensure clear division of responsibilities between Compliance and Operations.
Manage due diligence tooling and vendor governance with Product.
Drive cross‑functional projects to improve due diligence processes and system capabilities.
