Job summary

furama pte. ltd. in Singapore seeks a Catering Sales Manager to assist the Director of Catering & Events in driving proactive and reactive sales to hit revenue goals.

You will handle enquiries, arrange site inspections, and join a core team that creates memorable guest experiences. You will proactively solicit catering opportunities, respond promptly to inquiries about events and spaces, conduct tours for potential clients, upsell services, and maintain regular contacts with existing accounts

Qualifications

• Good interpersonal skills and outgoing personality.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Catering Sales in a Hotel.
• Familiar with all Hotel Services and Facilities and internal F&B policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Catering & Events in reactive and proactive sales efforts to achieve revenue goals.

• Respond promptly to telephone and walk-in enquiries about events and catering space; conduct tours for organizers and clients.

Job description

Assists the Director of Catering & Events in the Hotels’ to reactive and proactive sales efforts to achieving revenue goals. The Catering Sales Manager is responsible for enquiries and site inspections and be part of a core team that will create memorable experiences for guests.

• Responsible for proactively soliciting and managing group/catering related opportunities with significant revenue potential.
• Ensure prompt respond to all telephone and walk-in enquiries about events and catering space and conduct tours of the property with event organizers and potential clients.
• Actively up-sell and ensure regular sales and service contacts by sales call, telephone or correspondence with existing account.
• Establish excellent relationships and build rapport for guest/customers retention and coordinate sales activities with the rest of the sales team.

Job Requirements

• Familiar with all Hotel Services and Facilities. Have thorough knowledge of internal policies and procedures of the Food and Beverage Department
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Catering Sales in a Hotel
• Good interpersonal skills and outgoing personality with ability to engage in a conversation
