Job summary

The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Degree in Business or Marketing, 5+ years in sales or F&B, strong communication, proactive, and able to work independently while coordinating with internal teams. Shortlisted only.

Qualifications

• Minimum O-Level qualification; a Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing or a related field is an advantage.
• Relevant experience in sales, business development or the F&B industry is preferred. Candidates with at least 5 years of relevant experience will have an added advantage.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and client relationship management skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive and results-oriented, with a strong sense of responsibility and urgency.
• Creative, meticulous and organised, with the ability to manage multiple client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Handle telephone and online enquiries related to catering services and prepare suitable proposals for clients.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying opportunities to expand the customer base.
• Proactively generate new business opportunities through cold calling, client meetings and sales visits.
• Understand clients’ event requirements and provide recommendations on event arrangements, catering packages and menu selections.
• Monitor catering industry trends and customer preferences to identify potential business opportunities.
• Contribute creative ideas to improve catering offerings, service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Manage event orders with attention to sales performance, profitability and operational requirements.
• Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure catering events are delivered smoothly and meet clients’ expectations.
