CHD @ SOON LEE PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a dedicated Cashier/Retail Assistant to join our Pioneer West Region store. You will manage POS transactions, assist customers, stock shelves, and maintain a clean, welcoming sales floor while following safety and company policies.

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Cashier/Retail Assistants to join CHD @ SOON LEE PTE. LTD. in the Pioneer West Region. This is a full-time position offering an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic retail environment. As a Cashier/Retail Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across our retail operations. You will be the face of our business, creating positive customer experiences while maintaining efficient point-of-sale transactions and supporting broader retail activities.

What you'll be doing

• Operating cash registers and processing customer payments accurately using point-of-sale systems
• Providing friendly and professional customer service to all shoppers, addressing enquiries and resolving issues promptly
• Assisting with stock management, including receiving, shelving and organising products on the sales floor
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and well-organised retail environment in line with company standards
• Handling cash, card and digital payments with accuracy and integrity
• Supporting merchandise displays and promotional activities to enhance the shopping experience
• Assisting with inventory checks and stock counts as required
• Following company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations
• Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient store operations during peak and quiet periods

What we're looking for

• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not essential
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact politely and professionally with diverse customers
• Numeracy skills and accuracy when handling cash and processing transactions
• Reliability and a strong work ethic with the ability to meet attendance expectations
• Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and lift items safely
• Flexibility to work various shift patterns, including evenings and weekends as required
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills and systems
