Job summary

CHD @ SOON LEE PTE. LTD. in Pioneer West, Singapore, is hiring a full-time Warehouse Assistant to support receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch operations in our busy warehouse.

You will handle inventory, operate basic warehouse equipment, maintain safety standards and help the team meet daily targets while growing in the warehousing and logistics sector. This role offers stability and opportunities for skill development within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
• Able to perform manual handling and lift items regularly.
• Basic understanding of warehouse storage systems.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and unloading goods from delivery vehicles, verifying contents against documentation.
• Organising and storing products in designated warehouse locations using appropriate storage systems.
• Picking and packing orders in preparation for dispatch to customers.
• Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks, in accordance with safety procedures.
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting stock checks as required.
• Labelling and categorising products for easy identification and retrieval.
• Ensuring the warehouse remains clean, tidy and safe at all times.
• Assisting with loading goods onto vehicles for shipment.
• Following all health, safety and security procedures within the warehouse.
• Supporting team members to meet daily targets and deadlines.
• Working hours 9-6pm Mon-Fri 9-1pm Sat

About the role

We are seeking a Warehouse Assistant to join CHD @ SOON LEE PTE. LTD. in the Pioneer West Region. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our warehousing and distribution operations. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will support the day-to-day activities of our warehouse facility, ensuring efficient storage, organisation, and movement of goods. This role is essential to maintaining smooth logistics operations and delivering excellent service to our clients.

What you'll be doing

1. Receiving and unloading goods from delivery vehicles, verifying contents against documentation
2. Organising and storing products in designated warehouse locations using appropriate storage systems

What we’re looking for

1. Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred
2. Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks, lifting and moving items regularly
3. Attention to detail and accuracy in recording inventory and order information
4. Basic understanding of warehouse management and storage systems
5. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity targets
6. Strong teamwork and communication skills
7. Willingness to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment
8. Reliability and punctuality
9. Forklift or other warehouse equipment certification is advantageous
10. Ability to work shifts and flexible hours as required by operational needs
