Job summary

V-BUNKERS TANKERS PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an Operations Support for on-board bunker duties. You will report to the Operations Executive and manage cargo custody transfers, loading and discharging instructions, and ensure accurate bunker inventory.

Responsibilities include strict compliance with SS600/SS524/SS648 and regulatory requirements, timely reporting of discrepancies, collecting samples per SS600, and performing ad-hoc duties as assigned to support safe barge operations.

Qualifications

• Qualifications from a tertiary institution recognized by the Administration or a recognised organisation.
• Other formal education combined with at least 1-2 years experience in bunker operation.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Operations Executive and handle on-board cargo custody transfers, loading and discharging instructions.
• Responsible for on-board cargo inventory and reporting discrepancies to the Operations Executive.
• Ensure compliance with SS 600, SS 524, SS 648 and applicable on-board regulations.
• Disseminate loading and delivery nominations to the Master and Chief Officer on instruction from the Operations Executive.
• Ensure bunker supply quantity and quality match the nomination.
• Update the office with delivered and loaded documents when returning to shore.
• Collect all loading and delivery samples per SS600 sampling requirements and procedures.
• Follow all safety regulations on board the barge.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as required.

Job Responsibilities

• Report to duty Operations Executive and responsible for on board cargo custody transfers loading and discharging instruction from Operation Executive.
• Responsible for on board cargo inventory and any discrepancy report immediately to Operation Executive.
• Compliance with all SS 600, SS 524, SS 648 and statutory requirements and procedures on board.
• Disseminating all loading and delivery nomination information’s to the Master and the Chief Officer upon receiving instruction from Operation Executive.
• Ensuring that the bunker supply is correct quantity and quality as per given nomination.
• Responsible for updating office the relevant copies of delivered and loaded documents as and when return to shore.
• Responsible for all loading and delivery representative sealed samples are collected accordance to SS600 sampling requirements and procedures.
• To follow all Safety aspects and regulations on board the barge.
• Ad-hoc duties as and when assigned.

Job Requirements
