SECUR SOLUTIONS GROUP PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Service Engineer to support installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of card printers at customer sites. The role focuses on field service, customer support and technical assistance to ensure smooth equipment operation.

You will document service activities, assist senior engineers, and participate in training while following safety and operational procedures; cross-training in other service team aspects is also expected.

Formación

• Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/IT/Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in technical support or field service.
• Exposure to card printers or similar products is an advantage.
• Must possess strong problem-solving skills.
• Must possess adequate interpersonal and written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in installation, configuration, and testing of card printers at customer sites.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for card printers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues related to card printers.
• Support senior engineers in service calls, repairs, and customer training.
• Document all service activities, including service reports and technical issues.
• Provide technical support via phone, email, or on-site visits.
• Maintain tools, parts, and inventory related to card printer servicing.
• Coordinate with Operations teams for timely service delivery.
• Follow safety and operational procedures during all field activities.
• To be cross-trained and be involved in other aspect of operations within the service team.
