Qualifications

Job description

We are seeking a motivated and analytical Carbon Management Consultant to join our growing sustainability team. You will support client projects related to life cycle assessment, net‑zero strategy, and sustainability reporting. This role is ideal for candidates who are looking to apply their technical capabilities in a consulting environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. 1. Carbon & Environmental Assessment
   • Lead and conduct Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) for products and services across diverse sector, in line with ISO 14040/14044, including data collection, modelling, and documentation.
   • Conduct Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) assessments following ISO 14067.
   • Conduct Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) assessments following ISO 14025.
   • Product environmental labels and green certification standards is a plus.
   • Contribute to Corporate‑Level Carbon Accounting using GHG Protocol and relevant ISO 14064‑1 standards.
2. 2. Climate Strategy Support
   • Assist in preparing decarbonisation roadmaps and sustainability reports.
   • Conduct research on regulatory and voluntary guidelines, policies standards as well as on industry specific best practices.
3. 3. Project Delivery & Client Support
   • Prepare and present reports, proposals, and deliverables to clients.
   • Conduct client meetings, workshops, and training sessions, handling documentation and follow‑up actions.
   • Help maintain project trackers, quality checks, and internal coordination across teams.
4. 4. Business Development & Internal Capability Building
   • Contribute to proposal development and case studies.
   • Support internal knowledge‑building initiatives (framework updates, tools, templates, case studies).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Engineering or a related discipline; Master’s degree is preferred.
• 2‑8 years of professional experience in carbon management, environmental consulting, or related fields.
• Applied knowledge in LCA, PCF, EPD, product environmental labels and green certification standards, with a successful track record advising business clients.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into clear outputs.
• Effective communication skills, able to support technical discussions and prepare professional deliverables.
• Proven capability in managing complex sustainability projects, with strong collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
• Consulting experience or exposure to client‑facing work is highly preferred.
• Experience with carbon accounting software (e.g., SimaPro, OpenLCA, CarbonTools) is an advantage.
• Practicing Management Consultant (PMC) certification is a plus.
