Job summary

Sunnyhill Ace is seeking a diligent Facilities Assistant to maintain hygiene across the school compound, manage logistics for examinations and events, and assist with light lifting tasks. The role requires physical fitness and reliable shift adherence in a busy school setting.

You'll work Monday to Friday on rotating shifts (Shift A 6:00am–3:00pm; Shift B 10:00am–7:00pm) with rest days on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, and occasional Saturday shifts when events occur.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, understand, and communicate effectively with school staff.
• Must possess a high level of physical fitness to perform manual cleaning and lifting tasks.
• Willingness to work a rotating shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Estate Cleanliness: maintain hygiene across the school compound, including staff rooms and common areas.
• Logistics & Events: arrange classroom furniture for exams and functions.
• Heavy Lifting: move heavy objects and equipment as required.
• Security & Operations: lock/unlock facilities daily and operate basic office equipment.
• Ad-Hoc Tasks: carry out other facility support duties as assigned.
