Jet Asia Management is seeking a proactive and commercially minded CAMO Manager / Analyst to oversee and coordinate third-party CAMO providers supporting our managed aircraft.
This Singapore-based role serves as the internal focal point between CAMO providers, aircraft owners, Client Services, Operations, Finance, Engineering, MROs and other service providers.
The successful candidate will monitor maintenance and airworthiness matters, review technical recommendations and quotations, coordinate AOG support, and ensure matters are followed through accurately and on time. Maintain visibility of all outstanding CAMO and technical matters and follow through until closure.
Review maintenance quotations and technical proposals for accuracy, completeness and competitiveness.
Obtain and compare alternative quotations or solutions where appropriate.
Evaluate maintenance options based on cost, downtime, operational impact, technical suitability and quality.
Challenge unnecessary expenditure and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising safety, compliance or aircraft reliability.
Monitor scheduled maintenance requirements and ensure events are identified, budgeted and planned sufficiently in advance.
Coordinate maintenance planning with Operations and the aircraft owner’s expected flying programme.
Monitor maintenance progress, aircraft compliance, airworthiness and operational availability.
Coordinate CAMO matters during AOG and unscheduled maintenance events, including troubleshooting, quotations, parts availability and return-to-service timelines.
Provide stakeholders with timely and accurate technical updates.
Work with Finance and CAMO providers to prepare annual maintenance budgets and expenditure forecasts.
Track current and upcoming maintenance expenditure, including significant variances and high-value maintenance events.
Support Client Services by translating complex technical matters into clear and commercially understandable information for aircraft owners.
Prepare maintenance summaries, cost comparisons and technical updates for management and clients.
The ideal candidate should have:
Experience in CAMO, aircraft maintenance planning, technical services, maintenance control or aircraft management.
A good understanding of continuing airworthiness and business aviation maintenance requirements.
Strong technical, analytical and commercial judgment.
Experience reviewing maintenance quotations, proposals and expenditure.
The ability to manage multiple aircraft, priorities and outstanding matters simultaneously.
A proactive approach with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through.
The confidence to challenge CAMO providers, MROs and vendors on pricing, recommendations and timelines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical matters to non-technical stakeholders.
The ability to work effectively with regional clients and service providers.
Willingness to travel within the region when required, including occasional travel to Indonesia.
Proactive and accountable
Analytical and detail-oriented
Commercially minded
Responsive and organised
Client-focused
Strong commitment to safety, airworthiness, regulatory compliance and quality
Success will be measured by timely closure of technical matters, effective CAMO provider oversight, accurate maintenance planning and budgeting, competitive maintenance solutions, clear client communication, effective AOG coordination, and the continued safety, compliance and operational availability of the managed aircraft.
