Job summary

Jet Aviation Singapore is seeking a dedicated Technical Services Coordinator to ensure airworthiness, reliability and operational readiness of managed aircraft. Reporting to the Director, Technical Services, you will coordinate with operators, MROs and authorities to plan, document and execute maintenance in full regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aircraft Airworthiness, Aviation, Aeronautical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in aircraft airworthiness, CAMO, technical services or aviation environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of EASA Part-M, OTAR Part 39 and equivalent regulatory requirements.
  • Solid understanding of aircraft management principles and flight operations/services.
  • Experience with wide-body aircraft and CAMO procedures is advantageous.
  • EASA Part-66 licence would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance activities in collaboration with MROs and stakeholders.
  • Review and evaluate maintenance quotations for commercial appropriateness per AMP and NAA regulations.
  • Assess Airworthiness Directives (ADs) and coordinate required actions for compliance.
  • Coordinate implementation of Service Bulletins (SBs) where applicable.
  • Manage Certificate of Airworthiness (C of A) renewal with the relevant NAA.
  • Provide support during Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations to minimise downtime.
  • Assist customers with aircraft acquisition and sales requirements from a technical/airworthiness view.
  • Respond to client inquiries and complaints related to MRO services, ensuring resolution.
  • Maintain liaison with MROs, operators, authorities and service providers for safe, compliant operations.
  • Support Director, Technical Services on technical, airworthiness and aircraft management matters.

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly capable and detail-oriented Technical Services Coordinator to join our aviation team. Reporting directly to the Director, Technical Services, you will play a key role in ensuring the airworthiness, reliability and operational readiness of managed aircraft.

This role involves coordinating closely with aircraft operators, MROs, National Aviation Authorities (NAAs), customers and other aviation stakeholders to ensure that all maintenance activities are planned, executed and documented in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements and approved maintenance programmes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of aircraft airworthiness and maintenance environments, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to take ownership in a fast-paced and operationally demanding setting.

Main Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance activities in close collaboration with MROs and relevant stakeholders.
  • Request, review and evaluate maintenance quotations, ensuring that proposed work is commercially appropriate and carried out in accordance with applicable NAA regulations and the approved Aircraft Maintenance Programme (AMP).
  • Assess Airworthiness Directives (ADs) issued by the relevant NAA and coordinate the necessary actions to ensure continued compliance.
  • Evaluate and coordinate the implementation of mandatory, recommended and optional Service Bulletins (SBs), where applicable.
  • Coordinate and manage the Certificate of Airworthiness (C of A) renewal process with the relevant NAA, ensuring all requirements are met within the required timelines.
  • Provide prompt and effective support during Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations, coordinating with MROs and other relevant parties to facilitate timely resolution and minimise aircraft downtime.
  • Work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to support aircraft acquisition and sales projects, including technical and airworthiness-related requirements.
  • Manage and respond to client enquiries, requests and complaints relating to MRO services, ensuring issues are followed through to satisfactory resolution.
  • Maintain effective communication with MROs, operators, authorities and other service providers to ensure maintenance activities are executed safely, efficiently and in compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Support the Director, Technical Services on technical, airworthiness and aircraft management matters as required.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Aircraft Airworthiness, Aviation, Aeronautical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in an aircraft airworthiness, CAMO, technical services, aircraft maintenance or related aviation environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of EASA Part-M, OTAR Part 39 and equivalent international regulatory requirements.
  • Sound knowledge of aircraft management principles and a good understanding of various flight operations and services.
  • Strong understanding of the commercial and operational considerations of aircraft management.
  • Experience with wide-body aircraft and CAMO procedures will be highly advantageous.
  • EASA Part-66 licence would be an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients, MROs, authorities and other aviation stakeholders.

Work Environment

The employee must be able to work in both a heavy maintenance environment and in upscale customer areas. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate with occasional high volume when aircrafts arrive/depart. The employee is frequently exposed to vibration. Occasional fuel fumes may permeate the workplace. Employee must be willing and able to work in all types of weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The Hangar environment may be extreme hot and cold during certain seasons of the year.
