Job summary

XENEX ENGINEERING & PROCESS PTE. LTD. is seeking a piping design engineer to develop detailed piping arrangements for pharma plants, generate isometric drawings, and prepare BOMs.

You will design equipment layouts for complete plants and modular skids, and create PFDs and PIDs while interfacing with process, instrument, civil, and equipment suppliers. The role involves preparing piping specifications, evaluating vendor quotations, providing onsite support during project execution, and updating

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
• Proficient with CADWorx.
• Preferably 3 years relevant working experience in similar industry.
• Able to work with all levels of workforce.
• Self-motivated and team player.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skill.

Responsibilities

• Design detailed piping arrangements for Pharma plants, including isometrics and BOM.

Job Description

Design of detailed piping arrangement for Pharma plant and systems, including generate isometric drawing, piping support drawing and BOM (bill-of-materials).

Prepare and design equipment layout for complete plant and modular skid, PFD (Process Flow Diagram) and PID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagram), and other equipment outline drawings as well as EICA drawings.

Co-ordinate and interface with process, instrument, civil and equipment suppliers.

Prepare piping specifications, technical specifications, or data sheets for the purchase of piping components.

Clarification and evaluation of vendor quotations.

Onsite support during project execution stage.

Prepare and update as-built drawings.

Sizing and selection of equipment, piping, fittings and etc.

Other ad-hoc works as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree holders in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field
• Proficient with CADWorx
