Job summary

UES HOLDINGS PTE. LTD. is seeking a diligent CAD Drafter to support WWTP projects with piping layouts and M&E drawings. You will create and revise 2D/3D CAD drawings from 3D models and prepare GA, fabrication, installation, and as-built drawings.

You should have a degree or diploma in Mechanical or related engineering, 2–5 years CAD drafting experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD or CAD/BIM software. The role requires attention to detail and effective teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related discipline.
• 2–5 years CAD drafting experience, preferably in wastewater treatment, water treatment, process plants, or industrial facilities.
• Able to manage tight schedules and deliver quality work under time constraints.
• Experience in water/wastewater treatment plants or other industrial/plants projects; familiar with PUB specifications is advantageous.
• Ability to interpret engineering specifications, P&IDs, single-line diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant CAD/BIM software.
• Strong attention to detail and coordination skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop piping layout designs based on project/tender requirements and engineering standards.
• Generate and convert engineering drawings from 3D models.
• Prepare and compile drawings for authority/client submission.
• Produce and revise detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems within WWTP projects.
• Prepare General Arrangement (GA) drawings, detailed fabrication drawings, installation drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Develop layouts for process equipment, piping, cable routing, electrical panels, instrumentation, and associated facilities.
