Job summary

Broadcom Central Engineering seeks a qualified engineer to develop and support CAD tool flows for advanced process nodes. You will be hands-on with design/layout issues, building utilities and providing timely solutions while collaborating with EDA vendors and PDK teams.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with 2+ years of CAD/verification experience, and will contribute to QA, documentation, and user training for design engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• 2+ years of experience in CAD tools, layout, and verification challenges.
• Familiarity with CAD tools such as Calibre and Virtuoso Layout; experience with QA and tool QA processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class development and support for CAD tool flows focused on advanced process nodes.
• Hands-on day-to-day support for design/layout issues and productivity utilities.
• Interact with EDA vendors, PDK development, and process technology teams to deliver timely solutions.
