Job summary

Broadcom Singapore seeks a seasoned engineer to lead analog/mixed-signal tool flows, working with EDA vendors and PDK teams to provide timely solutions. The role is hands-on, focusing on day-to-day design/layout issues and productivity improvements through utilities.

You will develop automation in Skill, Perl, and Unix Shell, document processes, and train design and layout engineers. A Singapore facility location is required.

Qualifications

• Master in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with 10 years of EDA experience.
• Expertise in Cadence/Synopsys/Mentor tool suites and DRC/layout verification.
• Strong programming and device physics knowledge to solve layout and post-layout issues.

Responsibilities

• Support, enhance, and maintain PDKs and automation tools.
• Develop software for automation in Skill, Perl, Unix Shell scripting.
• Create documentation and provide hands-on training for design/layout engineers.
• Collaborate with EDA vendors and foundry teams to resolve tool issues.
