Job summary

LEWE ENGINEERING PTE LTD is seeking a precise Mechanical System Drafter in Singapore to produce 2D/3D CAD drawings and basic 3D layouts for HVAC, piping and ventilation systems. You will collaborate with project engineers and BIM teams to translate rough sketches into fully detailed shop drawings and fabrication spools.

You should have 2–4 years of drafting experience in M&E or industrial settings, with strong AutoCAD skills and familiarity with Revit (MEP).

Qualifications

Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
2–4 years drafting experience in mechanical and electrical (M&E) building services or industrial projects.
Proficiency in 2D/3D AutoCAD; basic BIM modeling with Revit.
Solid reading of schematics, P&IDs, piping isometrics, and ductwork symbols.
Attention to detail with precise lettering and scalable drawings.

Responsibilities

Prepare and revise 2D/3D CAD drawings for mechanical building services (HVAC, piping, ventilation, fire protection).
Generate fully dimensioned shop drawings and spool drawings from engineer markups.
Ensure adherence to CAD standards, layers, symbols, and libraries.
Update drawings with site redlines and as-built measurements for final delivery.
Perform overlay checks against architectural/structural drawings to spot clashes.
Maintain drawing registers and revision histories; file native CAD/PDF transmittals.
