Job summary

The GMP Group in Singapore is seeking a production associate to apply and attach labels to products, perform quality checks, and manage materials within a manufacturing setting.

The role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to stand for long periods. You will follow 5S practices, maintain records, and work on day or night shifts with a Sunday rest day and benefits described by the employer.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of manufacturing/production experience.
• Good attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Able to stand for extended periods and perform manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Apply and attach labels to products per work instructions.
• Check labels for accuracy, placement and condition.
• Handle, move and arrange products and materials.
• Maintain records and complete documentation.
• Maintain 5S standards and workplace housekeeping.
• Follow safety procedures and company requirements.
• Perform other production duties as assigned.
• Work shifts as required.

About the role

This is a production role involving the application and attachment of labels to products, quality checking, and handling of materials in a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Apply and attach labels to products accurately according to work instructions
• Check labels to ensure correct information, placement and condition
• Handle, move and arrange products and materials as required for production activities
• Maintain accurate records and complete relevant documentation
• Maintain good housekeeping and 5S standards within the work area
• Follow workplace safety procedures and company requirements
• Perform other production-related duties as assigned
• Work on shifts as required

About you

• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, production, assembly or a related environment
• Minimum Nitec, Higher Nitec, vocational or equivalent technical qualification
• Good attention to detail and manual dexterity for accurate label application
• Able to perform work involving prolonged standing and manual handling/lifting of products or materials
• Able to handle and move items of up to 50 lbs (approximately 23 kg) in accordance with workplace safety requirements
• Basic computer skills

- Location: Tampines (Near IKEA)
- Working Hours: 8am - 8pm (Day Shift) / 8pm - 8am (Night Shift)
- Fixed Sunday Rest Day

- Night Shift: SGD 24/per day
- Premium Allowance: SGD 15/per day
