Job summary

Mentor Supply Chain Pte. Ltd. is seeking a proactive supply chain professional in Singapore to manage end-to-end purchasing activities, forecast updates, and supplier coordination.

The role emphasizes timely PO release, shipment follow-ups, and accurate backlog reporting to support sales and customers. You will collaborate with suppliers on ETD/ETA, review weekly forecasts, and contribute to monthly excess and aging reporting to optimize inventory levels.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing experience for consumables, non-trade and trade items.
• Upload weekly forecast or demands based on real customer order and review the MRP.
• Review and update daily backlog shortage report to Sales Admin/Customers.
• Release PO based on correct strategy.
• Ensure PO is submitted for approval and released to supplier after PO approval.
• Coordinate with suppliers on ETD/ETA.
• Follow up with freight forwarders on shipment movements.
• Follow up with suppliers for disposition if materials have defects or if defects are encountered at customer end.
• Work on monthly excess / ageing reporting.
