Job summary

Koch is seeking a Business Process Analyst for our Global Travel &Expense team in Singapore. The role covers T&E auditing, card program management, and regional support for APAC and China operations.

We value strong analytical skills, cross-cultural communication, and the ability to interpret policies while driving process improvements. Proficiency in Chinese is required to collaborate with stakeholders in China.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field.
• Strong customer focus with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• T&E Auditing: Understand and apply T&E processes and global policies across business units.
• Manage a workbench consisting of assigned exceptions generated by an automated auditing tool.
• Apply logic and reason to analysis of employee expense submission entries and receipts.
• Know company policies and procedures to ensure expense submissions are compliant.
• Treat exceptions as opportunities to teach employees about company policies and Koch’s principles.
• Identify high-risk patterns which can lead to fraud, misuse, or abuse of company assets.
• Conduct pre-audit on T&E Expense for APAC region.
• Manage the personal expense recovery process and personal reimbursement process for China employees.
• T&E Card Program: Manage corporate card requests and inquiries; respond to queries.
• Assist employees with business travel inquiries and booking issues; coordinate KYC and governance for card programs.

T&E Card Program:

• Manage corporate card requests (applications, terminations, credit limit changes) and inquiries
• Respond to T&E-related queries, including expense submissions, reimbursements, and policy interpretation
• Assist employees with business travel-related inquiries and booking issues
• Coordinate KYC requirements and maintain program governance (authorized officers, administrators) for Credit Card Programs.
• Communicate clearly, concisely, and strategically with cardholders and supervisors.
• Manage delinquency processes and follow up on outstanding balances

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Diploma or degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field
• Strong customer focus with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Experience in process improvement and operational efficiency
• Effective communication skills across diverse and multicultural audiences
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Proficiency in Chinese is required to effectively communicate with stakeholders in China.

What Will Put You Ahead

• 3 years of experience in T&E, finance, or a related function
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Exposure to automation and analytics tools (e.g., Power Automate, Power BI, Power Query, Alteryx)
• Additional language capabilities in Japanese or Korean would be advantageous in supporting regional stakeholders
