Job summary

CHUBB Singapore Private Limited is seeking an Operations Manager to drive consistent, efficient and scalable installation execution. You will lead operational planning, sales forecast, capacity and resource planning, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

You will collaborate with sales, project management, engineering, procurement, finance and field teams to convert forecasted opportunities into actionable plans, identify risks

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Minimum 10 years in business operations, planning, controllership, or similar.
• Experience with demand planning, sales forecasting, capacity planning, resource management or S&OP processes.
• Experience in installation/project operations in multi-project, customer-facing environments.
• Experience using ERP systems, project management tools and reporting/dashboard platforms.
• Six Sigma, project management, or continuous improvement certification is preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales leadership to review installation sales forecasts and project start dates.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts and implement action plans to mitigate risks.
• Track and manage variation orders (VOs) proactively.
• Establish operating rhythms for reliable mobilization, execution, handover and closeout.
• Oversee sales-to-project and project-to-service handovers with timely information transfer.
• Lead S&OP or demand planning reviews with key stakeholders.
• Define, track and report operational KPIs for installation operations.
• Support standard operating procedures, project controls and best practices across installation operations.
• Deploy global initiatives and ensure field adoption.
• Analyze processes and data to identify root causes and improvement opportunities.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives affecting productivity, quality, and profitability.
• Review and implement technology tools to improve efficiency.

Job description

Position Purpose

The Operations Manager is responsible for driving consistent, efficient and scalable execution across installation operations. This role leads operational planning, sales forecast, capacity and resource planning and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure installation teams deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.

This role works closely with sales, project management, engineering, procurement, finance and field installation teams. The Operations Manager ensures thatforecasted sales opportunities are converted into actionable operational plans;identifies risks and constraints early; and improves operating processes to support profitable growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with sales leadership to review installation sales forecasts, pipeline opportunities, awarded work and anticipated project start dates.
• Responsible for maintaining accurate sales forecasts and implementing action plans to mitigate forecast risks where necessary.
• Responsible for the tracking and proactive management of variation orders (VOs).
• Establish and maintain operating rhythms that support reliable project mobilization, execution, handover and closeout.
• Responsible for the sales-to-project handover process, ensures that critical contract obligations and other need-to-know information are transferred accurately and in a timely manner.
• Responsible for the project-to-service hand over process, ensures that all documentation and site knowledge are transferred accurately and in a timely manner.
• Lead regular sales and operations planning(S&OP) or demand planning reviews with key stakeholders.
• Define, track and report operational KPIs for installation operations.
• Support consistent implementation of standard operating procedures, project controls and best practices across installation operations.
• Own the deployment of global initiatives and ensure adoption by the field teams.
• Analyze operational processes, performance data and recurring issues to identify root causes and improvement opportunities.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives that improve operational processes that have impact on areas such as productivity, work quality and profitability.
• Actively review and implement technology tools to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the installation operation steam.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in business operations, planning, business controllership or a similar operational environment.
• Demonstrated experience with demand planning, sales forecasting, capacity planning, resource management or S&OP processes.
• Experience managing or supporting installation/project operations in a multi-project, customer-facing environment.
• Experience using operational systems, project management tools, ERP systems and reporting/ dashboard platforms.
• Lead, Six Sigma, project management, or continuous improvement certification is preferred.
