Job summary

Prestigious Law Firm is seeking a Business Development Specialist at Senior Executive / Assistant Manager level in Central Singapore. The role focuses on driving strategic growth, client acquisition, profile building, and market intelligence within the legal sector.

The position involves coordinating client pitches, managing RFPs, and events, while leading digital marketing, sponsorships, and communications to strengthen the firm’s market position.

Qualifications

• Degree in Marketing, Business, Law, or related discipline.
• At least 5 years of BD/marketing experience in professional services.
• Familiarity with CRM systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong digital marketing and event organization experience.
• Proficiency in using AI content tools for marketing.
• Strong written and spoken English; Chinese is a plus.
• Excellent project management and collaboration skills.
• Strong business acumen and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate client development activities, pitches, presentations, and tenders; drive key client account planning and events.
• Conduct market intelligence and research to identify growth opportunities and priority sectors.
• Build profiles and manage communications for directories and marketing collateral (Chambers, Legal 500, IFLR1000); oversee sponsorships and conferences.
• Advise on and manage digital communications: social media, e-marketing campaigns, client alerts, and the firm’s website and client knowledge portals.
• Maintain the firm's experience database by tracking matters, credentials, awards, and accolades.
• Project-manage client seminars, conferences, and internal alignment to maximize networking and business generation.

Our client, Prestigious Law Firm is seeking to recruit a Business Development Specialist (Senior Executive / Assistant Manager level)

Location: Central Singapore

Role Focus: Driving strategic growth, client acquisition, profile building, and market intelligence within the legal sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Development & Pitches: Coordinate RFPs, pitches, presentations, and tenders. Drive key client account planning, relationship management, and coordinate BD events and logistics.
• Market Intelligence & Research: Research clients, competitor activities, and market trends to identify growth opportunities and target priority sectors.
• Profile Building & Communications: Manage submissions and interviews for major legal directories (e.g., Chambers, Legal 500, IFLR1000). Oversee sponsorships, conferences, and draft marketing collateral (brochures, capability statements).
• Digital Communications: Advise on and manage social media, e-marketing campaigns, client alerts, and the firm’s website and client knowledge portals.
• Knowledge Management: Maintain the firm's experience database by tracking representative matters, credentials, awards, and accolades.
• Event Management: Project-manage client seminars, conferences, and internal alignment to maximize networking and business generation.

Requirements:

• Degree in Marketing, Business, Law, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in business development and/or marketing (professional services industry experience preferred).
• Familiarity with CRM systems is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong in digital marketing and prior experience with organising events is an added advantage
• Proficiency in using AI tools to generate marketing content such as graphics, videos, and podcasts
• Strong proficiency in both written and spoken English.
• Ability to communicate in Chinese is a plus point (To liaise with Chinese-speaking clients)
• Excellent project management skills with keen attention to detail.
• Confident in working collaboratively with individuals at all levels of the organisation.
