Job summary

MKS GLOBAL PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our Commercial Design firm. The ideal candidate has proven sales experience in the commercial interior design and build industry, with exposure to government tenders and corporate projects.

You will build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, collaborate with design and project teams, and drive new business while ensuring high standards of interior aesthetics.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher is required.
• At least 3 years of sales experience in related field.
• Experience in commercial interior design & build is advantageous.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English is required for diverse client base.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through digital platforms, networking and meetings.
• Research potential clients and markets to expand the company’s client base.
• Attend client appointments and manage self-sourced leads.
• Schedule and lead meetings to introduce clients to the company’s services.

Title: Business Development Manager

Our dynamic team is expanding, and we’re on the lookout for Business Development Manager to join our Commercial Design firm. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the commercial interior design and build industry, with strong exposure to government tenders and corporate projects. You should have a keen eye for interior aesthetics, strong business development skills, and a proven track record of securing new corporate clients while building and maintaining strong relationships with existing accounts.

Job Responsibilities

1. Client Acquisition & Prospecting

   • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through digital platforms, networking & scheduled face-to-face meetings.

   • Research potential clients and markets to expand the company’s client base.

2. Client Engagement

   • Attend client appointments assigned by the company and manage self-sourced leads.

   • Schedule and lead meetings to introduce clients to the company’s services.

3. Relationship Management

   • Build and maintain strong, service-focused relationships with clients to foster long-term partnerships.

   • Provide timely follow-ups with clients to keep them updated on project progress and next steps.

4. Collaboration & Project Support

   • Work closely with the design and project teams to ensure smooth communication and alignment with client expectations.

   • Apply creativity and an eye for design aesthetics to support the team in achieving successful project outcomes.(Bonus responsibility)

5. Sales & Performance Tracking

   • Achieve sales targets by converting leads into confirmed projects.

   • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, proposals & contracts in line with company processes.
     

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in any field.
• At least 3 years of sales experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Experience in the commercial interior design and build industry will be an advantage.
• Positive and friendly disposition with a professional attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Applicants must be able to converse in Mandarin and English to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders.
• Applicants with their own vehicle will have an advantage.
