We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager with strong export networks to help us expand into new international markets and strengthen our global presence.
As our Business Development Manager, you will drive strategic growth by identifying international opportunities, managing key client relationships, and developing export channels for our niche plant‑based products. This role is ideal for someone passionate about sustainable food innovation and skilled in cross‑border business development.
Develop and execute international business growth strategies, focusing on export markets.
Identify, build, and manage new overseas partnerships, including distributors, importers, and retailers.
Leverage existing export networks to open new markets and expand our global footprint.
Lead negotiations, secure partnerships, and oversee contract processes.
Source for brand partners/wholesalers who we can produce for as contract manufacturer.
Provide insights into global market trends, regulations, and competitive landscapes.
Represent the brand at trade shows, export events, and international food exhibitions.
Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, production) to support export requirements and ensure smooth operations.
Prepare progress reports, forecasts, and market analyses for management.
Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and manage opportunities in business processes and contribute to the organization’s short and long‑term business goals.
Evaluate findings, prepare reports and make recommendations to management about the business and financial viability of alternative opportunities.
Planning and preparing presentations to clients.
Able to do product costings for price strategy
Proven experience in business development, ideally within F&B, FMCG, meat sector, or plant‑based food.
Established network of export partners, buyers, or distributors.
Capable and versatile with PowerPoint presentation preparations.
Strong understanding of international trade, export operations, and cross‑border sales.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
Strategic thinker with a proactive, energetic, and results‑driven approach.
Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
Passion for plant‑based, sustainable, or health‑focused products is a strong advantage.
