Job summary

Gain City ECO PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Director/Assistant Director/Senior Manager to lead the ECO business unit.

You will establish and manage end-to-end operations for a scalable, compliant e-waste collection and recycling business and recruit, train, and lead a high-performing team to execute efficient collection, dismantling and disposal. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in e-waste management.
• Proven leadership experience with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
• In-depth knowledge of regulations and statutory compliance.
• Demonstrated success in driving process improvements.
• Strong experience in cost management and leading efficiency initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Be familiar with the EPR Scheme for E-waste, including relevant obligations.
• Ensure full compliance with all relevant regulations, statutory requirements and internal SOPs.
• Design, implement and manage a scalable and sustainable business model for the collection and recycling of e-waste.
• Lead contract negotiations and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and partners.
• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team of collectors and operations personnel to ensure effective and efficient operations.
• Review existing processes and organisational structures to identify opportunities for improved efficiency, automation and enhanced business partnering.
• Explore and evaluate diversification opportunities, including, but not limited to scrap metal, food waste and other recyclable materials.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Director / Assistant Director / Senior Manager to lead the ECO business unit of the Gain City group of companies.
In this role, you will be responsible establishing and managing end-to-end operations for a scalable and compliant e-waste collection and recycling business. You will lead the design and implementation of operational processes and ensure full compliance with regulations. You will recruit, train and lead a high-performing team to carry out efficient collection, dismantling and disposal of e-waste.
