BIOSHENG HEALTHCARE SDN BHD is seeking a strategic Business Development Director to lead regional growth across South East Asia. You will shape market entry strategies, form partnerships, and drive sustainable expansion across multi-country markets.

Reporting to senior leadership, you will build cross-functional teams, assess opportunities in healthcare, retail, and wellness sectors, negotiate deals with landlords and partners, and ensure scalable market entry while upholding the brand.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in business development.
• At least 5 years in regional leadership.
• Experience in health, retail, or wellness industries.
• MBA preferred.
• Multilingual capability is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of regional expansion strategies across SEA.
• Identify and evaluate new market opportunities (site selection, partnerships, M&A).
• Build relationships with landlords, franchise partners, suppliers, and government agencies.
• Collaborate with marketing, operations, and legal to ensure market entry and scalability.
• Analyze industry trends to innovate and diversify offerings.
• Manage regional BD teams and oversee performance targets.

Position Overview

As the Business Development Director for the South East Asia region, you will play a key leadership role in driving expansion, forming strategic partnerships, and exploring new market opportunities. You will work closely with senior leadership to shape growth strategies across multiple countries and ensure sustainable business development aligned with our brand values.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of regional expansion strategies.
• Identify and evaluate new market opportunities across SEA (site selection, partnerships, M&A).
• Build relationships with key stakeholders including landlords, franchise partners, health product suppliers, and government agencies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, legal) to ensure successful market entry and scalability.
• Analyze industry trends across sectors (healthcare, retail, tech, wellness, etc.) to innovate and diversify our offerings.
• Manage regional business development teams and oversee performance targets.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in business development, with at least 5 years in a regional leadership role.
• Proven track record in health, retail, or wellness industries; experience across multiple sectors is a strong plus (e.g., F&B, healthcare, lifestyle, tech).
• Deep understanding of the South East Asian market landscape and regulatory environment.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
